About Me:
Dr. Tapas Ghatak obtained  his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Krishnagar Govt. College Affiliated to University of Kalyani,West Bengal, India. He completed his M.Sc. at the Department of Chemistry, University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India and Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur, India) in the group of Prof. Jitendra K. Bera with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF). In 2015, he moves to Israel as a post-doctoral fellow at Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and worked with Prof. Moris S. Eisen.
Professional Experience:
  • June 2019 - till date: Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, SAS, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.
  • May 2018 - June 2019: Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
  • Nov 2014 to Dec 2017: Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Israel.
  • Postdoc Supervisor: Prof. Moris. S .  Eisen.
